Groups & Events

Connection. Community. Shared Growth.

At Evolve Wellbeing Psychology, we believe that meaningful connection is a cornerstone of emotional wellbeing.
Our Groups & Events are designed to bring people together in safe, inclusive, and supportive spaces where individuals can learn, share, and grow alongside others.

Whether you’re attending a community event, joining a therapeutic group, or connecting with others who share similar experiences, our aim is to foster a sense of belonging and reduce the isolation that can often come with life’s challenges.

All of our groups are thoughtfully developed with emotional safety in mind, and are facilitated by experienced psychologists who are trauma-informed, neuro-affirming, and skilled in managing group dynamics.

Bookings are essential for all groups and events.

Community Events

Building stronger, more connected communities

We are passionate about creating opportunities for our community to come together in ways that feel accessible, welcoming, and meaningful.

Our community events may include:

  • Guest speaker sessions

  • Parent and caregiver groups

  • Neurodiversity-affirming meetups

  • LGBTQIA+ inclusive spaces

  • Collaborative events with local organisations

These events are designed to provide both information and connection—supporting individuals, families, and communities to feel more informed, empowered, and less alone.

  • A monthly event run by Kelly Winwood Lanham in collaboration with Nat, of Honoured Gym.

Held at Honoured Gym in Capalaba, maximum capacity of 25 children per session.

This kids “Get Moving” program is held once a month with the goal to build confidence, coordination and communication skills. Fun and inclusive.

  • A safe and welcoming space for LGBTQIA+ young people to connect, share, and be  themselves.

We’re so excited to be launching a youth group for kids of rainbow families

This is a beautiful new collaboration between Rainbow Families, Honoured Social Enterprise Gym and Evolve Wellbeing Psychology, created to give young people a safe, supportive space to connect, move their bodies and just be themselves.

    Monthly (Fridays)

    Honoured Social Enterprise Gym

    Unit 1/11 Dan Street Capalaba

    Session times: 4:30–6:00pm

Who Our Groups Are For

Our Groups & Events are open to a wide range of individuals, including:

  • Children, adolescents, and adults

  • Parents and caregivers

  • Neurodivergent individuals

  • Members of the LGBTQIA+ community

  • Anyone seeking connection, support, or personal growth

You do not need to be an existing client of Evolve Wellbeing Psychology to attend our events. However we do require some information before confirming your booking. All of our groups and events have a limited number of spaces to ensure the environment is supportive, safe and therapeutic.

For group therapies hosted by a fully registered psychologist, individuals with a Mental Health Care Plan from their GP can obtain an additional referral for group therapy which allows for 10 rebated group therapy sessions per calendar year (this does not affect your individual session count for the year). Private Health rebates may apply.
