Fees and Pricing

Therapy

  • The full rate of our clinical psychologist is $275.00. If you have a mental health care plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a rebate of $145.25, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $129.75

  • The full rate of our Senior Psychologist is $249.50. If you have a mental health care plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a rebate of $98.95, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $150.55.

  • The full rate of our General Psychologist is $229.50. If you have a mental health care plan from your GP, you may be eligible for a rebate of $98.95, leaving an out-of-pocket cost of $130.55.

  • The full rate of our Provisional Psychologist is $130.55. Unfortunately, no Medicare rebates are available for our provisional psychologists meaning that your out-of-pocket cost will be $130.55

  • The full rate of our Clinical Psychotherapist is $205.00. Rebates may be available for individuals with private health, or funding support from third-parties (e.g. NDIS).

  • The full fee for appointments booked under EAP with Evolve Wellbeing Psychology is charged at a rate of $277 per session. Invoices are de-identified to retain patient confidentiality and sent directly to the employer for payment (session count varies according to employer’s contract with Evolve).

Third Party Funding

We accept a variety of Third Party funding for certain clients, including (but not limited to):

  • National Disability Insurance Scheme (Self-Managed & Plan Managed clients)

  • WorkCover Queensland and other Insurance funded programs

  • Queensland Police Service and Queensland Fire Department Early Intervention Programs

  • Victims Assist Queensland

  • ComCare (Commonwealth Public Service)

  • Our Employee Assistance Program

    Rates for psychological services involving third party funding are usually determined by the funder and are typically adjusted annually.  Please contact our Client Support Team for more information about your particular circumstances. 

Assessments

We offer a flat rate fee guarantee on all our assessment reports, meaning that you will never pay more than our guaranteed fee for any assessment. 

  • The maximum fee you can expect to pay for the Comprehensive ADHD Assessment is $2,450

  • The maximum fee you can expect to pay for the Comprehensive Autism Assessment is $2,650

  • The maximum fee you can expect to pay for the Combined ADHD and Autism Assessment is $3,100

  • The maximum fee you can expect to pay for the Cognitive Assessment is $2,050

  • The maximum fee you can expect to pay for the Functional Capacity Assessment is $1,450.

  • If you require your report to be endorsed by our Clinical Psychologist, this will be an additional $277.00.

Assessment Billing Policy

We require the full cost of your assessment and report upfront and full payment is expected prior to the initial appointment.

If there is a third party billing arrangement (i.e. someone else is paying for the assessment report), alternative arrangements are available. Please contact our Client Support Team for further information. 

GST (Goods and Services Tax)

Psychological services are generally exempt from GST and all our prices are exclusive of GST.  If GST becomes payable on any product or service we offer, we will advise you of this.

Cancellation Policy

To avoid cancellation fees, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We understand that circumstances can change and that you may not always be able to keep your appointments.

  • One full business day’s notice is required to avoid a fee

  • Late cancellations (less than one business day's notice) and non-attended appointments both attract a 100% fee

  • Any unpaid cancellation or non-attended appointment fee after three business days results in automatic cancellation of future appointments

  • No future appointments may be booked until outstanding fees are paid



Please note that rebates are not available for cancelled appointments, and third-party funders typically require clients to be responsible for the payment of any cancellation fees they incur. Cancellation fees incur 10% GST, per Australian Taxation Office GST laws.

Hardship and Concessional Rates

In keeping with our mission, vision and values, we have a concessions policy for existing clients who experience financial hardship.  If you need to access concessional rates, please contact our Client Support Team and complete the necessary application form.  Granting concessional rates to a client is not automatic and depends on a number of factors.  In the event the practice agrees to apply a concessional rate to your appointment, terms and conditions will apply.
