Assessment Payment & Billing Policy
To make assessments accessible and manageable, we do not require full upfront payment. Instead, your assessment fee is paid in four equal instalments tied to the stages of your assessment journey:
1st Instalment (25%): Due at the time of booking to secure your initial appointment.
2nd Instalment (25%): Due before your first standardised testing session (usually your third appointment).
3rd Instalment (25%): Due after your final standardised testing session is completed.
4th Instalment (25%): Due before your feedback session is scheduled and your final report is finalised and released.
Third Party Funding
If you have an agreed third-party billing arrangement (e.g., NDIS plan manager, WorkCover, or another insurer), alternative arrangements may be available subject to the funder’s rules and policies. Please contact our Client Support Team for further information prior to booking.
Medicare Rebates for Assessments
Some clients may be eligible for Medicare rebates under the M10 pathway for Complex Neurodevelopmental Disorders (such as Autism) and eligible disabilities. This pathway requires a referral from a paediatrician or psychiatrist and applies to clients under 25 years of age. Eligible clients can receive a rebate of approximately $101.55 per assessment session, which is processed after each session and returned directly to you. Please note that the staged instalement payments are payable to the practice in full regardless of Medicare eligibility.
GST (Goods and Services Tax)
Psychological services are generally GST-Free and all our prices are exclusive of GST. If GST becomes payable on any product or service we offer, we will advise you of this at the time of payment.
Cancellation Policy
To avoid cancellation fees, please contact us as soon as possible if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. We understand that circumstances can change and that you may not always be able to keep your appointments.
One full business day’s notice is required to avoid a fee
Late cancellations (less than one business day's notice) and unattended appointments both attract a 100% fee
Any unpaid cancellation or non-attended appointment fee after three business days results in automatic cancellation of future appointments
No future appointments may be booked until all outstanding fees are paid
Assessment appointments involve significant clinician preparation and reserved time. Our dedicated Assessment Cancellation Policy, linked below, outlines the fees applicable for late cancellations or non-attendance at assessment appointments, which are calculated based on session duration and are in addition to the assessment flat-fee. We encourage you to review this policy prior to booking.
Please note that Medicare rebates are not available for cancelled or unattended appointments, and third-party funders typically require clients to pay directly for any cancellation fees they incur.

Hardship and Concessional Rates
In keeping with our mission, vision and values, we have a hardship and concessional pricing policy for existing clients who experience financial hardship. Concessional pricing is not available to new clients, and we are not a bulk billing service. Granting concessional rates to an existing client is not automatic and depends on a number of factors. In the event the practice agrees to apply a concessional rate to your appointment, terms and conditions will apply.
