About Me

I am a psychotherapist who uses a relational approach to therapy. I believe that you are an expert in your own life, and my role is to guide you in finding your own solutions to your problems. I use different modalities depending on your goals. Some of these include person-centred therapy, strengths-based therapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative therapy, dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT) and expressive therapies including sand tray interventions.

I enjoy working with people across the life span. Your age is only one part of your story. Life transitions or challenges happen to everyone. You are not alone in these times of change.

I have a special interest in helping people manage anxiety and depression. As well as working with people on the spectrum, with ADHD, self-harm tendencies or dealing with grief and loss. Relationship issues, communication concerns, negative thought patterns and parenting problems are some of the challenges we can work through together.

I have lived experience as a young mum to a child with a complex medical condition. (However, I am no longer young). I am passionate about supporting parents in advocating for their children and navigating the health system.

I am registered with Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA) and hold nursing registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
