Saraid is a generally registered psychologist who is committed to creating a warm, genuine, and collaborative therapeutic environment where clients feel safe to be themselves. She believes therapy is most effective when clients feel understood, respected, and actively involved in the therapeutic process, and she works alongside each individual to support meaningful and sustainable change.
Saraid has experience working with children, adolescents, and adults across a range of clinical and community settings, supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, and life transitions. Her therapeutic approach is grounded in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT), while also drawing on Attachment Theory and a Schema Therapy-informed lens to understand the patterns and experiences that shape emotional wellbeing.
She is experienced in conducting psychometric assessments for individuals across the lifespan, including assessments for ADHD, Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), adaptive functioning, and the assessment and diagnosis of a range of mental health disorders. She uses assessment findings to inform comprehensive case conceptualisation, diagnosis, and individualised treatment planning.
Saraid is passionate about helping clients develop practical skills while gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and the patterns that influence their wellbeing. Her aim is to empower clients with the confidence and tools to navigate life's challenges, strengthen resilience, and create lasting positive change.
Saraid is available to see clients on Fridays and Saturdays
