I am passionate and committed to providing high-quality evidence-based psychological services. I enjoy working with clients who are interested and motivated to lead a more fulfilled and meaningful life.
My experience has enabled me to work in government and non-government sectors, and in private practice. I am also registered to deliver interventions under Medicare’s Better Access to Mental Health initiative.
Areas of interest
I have extensive experience providing therapies to individuals and couples across the lifespan for clinical and non-clinical issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, loss and grief, relationship challenges, self-esteem, anger management and life transitions.
I’m a warm and empathetic therapist who uses a person-centred approach. Working collaboratively with my clients I aim to build an effective, therapeutic relationship facilitating a context in which change can be explored and pursued.
My therapeutic interventions are tailored to meet individual’s needs to promote healing and change using several different approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Schema Therapy (ST), Emotional Focused Therapy (EFT), and Solution Focused Therapy (SFT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
